What is the coolest remade Christmas song or CD?

I am looking for an upbeat modern Christmas song or CD. The old fashion versions put me to sleep. What is the coolest remade Christmas song or CD? Thanks!!
Tip for best answer: M$2.03
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

If there is one thing you can say about Relient K it's this, they are cool. And since you wanted the coolest modern remade Christmas song or CD, I think their 2008 CD "Let it Snow baby, let it Reindeer" fits the bill about as nicely as anything you will get for 0.99 cents per track. There are 20 tracks available, some better than others, depending on your tastes I suppose. All 20 tracks are available for preview at Amazon.com.

I like "Silver Bells" and "Sleigh Ride" (which is attached). I don't think they will put you to sleep, and I could definitely see myself decorating a tree to this CD. "Sleigh Ride" is probably the slowest song on the CD, in case you are worried about the sleep element.

Well I dont know how much upbeat you want... but my favorite is Carole of the Bells by Trans Siberian Orchestra.

My tastes in Christmas tunes don't match (in the slightest) my normal music selection.
And my picks for this answer are not two artists I normally listen to on a regular basis,
but as Christmas song remakes go, they both work for me quote well!

The Jethro Tull Christmas Album.

Photobucket

This is an album that has a special Christmas appeal to me, but then I am a fan of Tull, always have been.
Its not your old ordinary Christmas songs redone, it's truely a unique album, one that only a group such as Jethro Tull could put together and pull off.
A great change of pace and upbeat Album that livens up the Holiday.
The album was originally released in 2003 but in 2009 EMI released a special edition that includes Ian Anderson's live holiday performance at St. Bride's in London.
It may not be to your paticular liking but I thought you might enjoy checking it out.

Now if Tull doesn't do it for you then theres always this mellow little Christmas album;
