What is the collective term for a group of leopards?

Please be sure to include sources :)
Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

This quite unnecessary word is a "leap". A "leap of leopards". There are many references to it but few if any seem authoritative. This one, a book, seemed sound.

Leopards are solitary animals.

It is spelled "lepe" in the older book that I source under moles.
