What is the cheapest way (under $100) to connect a digital audio out source (either optical or coaxial) to a set of analog speakers?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

This looks like that same unit, and this company seems to have some of the more cost-efficient D/A converters out there though I'd check out some reviews if you are looking for audiophile conversion (though that's usually significantly more expensive):

M$(You may need a RCA Stereo cable to 1/8 inch headphone plug type connection if they are computer speakers but that can be found at radio shack for under 12 dollars).
If they are regular speakers, you could get the above unit and plug it into an existing stereo receiver or buy an inexpensive one at radio shack or other electronics outlet.
