What is the cheapest way to get 2 adults from Hong Kong to Malaga or Gibraltar in Summer 2009?

I'm pretty sure there's no way to do it without at least one connection or change, but ideally I'd like just a single connection/change, in London or Paris.

Edited to add: I'm looking for a specific route/airline/deal, not general advice on how to find cheap flights...

Edited again: Maybe I need to learn to write better questions. Flights please?
Tip for best answer: M$2.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

When I reviewed a few sites, it definitely looked like Malaga had many, many more choices of flights and was half the cost. Expedia had a minimum of $12xx. Ugh. Some of the first link google searches for international travel had flights from Hong Kong to Malaga for under $900 on reputable airlines like British Airways and Qantas.

Also, on the British Airways site, please note that they charge your credit card in HK dollars and that Friday and Saturday travel are much more expensive than weekday travel.

Going directly to BA's site, it appears you can get the tickets for ~$680 at todays' rates. (Most credit cards I've used convert common currencies transparently and at exact rates with no fees.)

Note that this price includes a single stop in London, but also requires traveling between Heathrow and Gatwick at your expense.

www.farebuzz.com was where I found the cheap flights initially through multiple airlines.
http://www.britishairways.com/ is where I found the cheapest price.

I thought about that first, but then thought about it again. In fact, walking would be more expensive than anything else. You have to buy food, clothes, shoes, water (or a safe way to get it clean) and shelter. You also need money for crossing borders and visas. It would be cheaper to fly, but boat-hitchhiking would be even cheaper. You can even get paid for traveling!

Buy two tickets, one HKG-LON and the other LON-AGP. You can get very cheap prices on places like EasyJet and RyanAir and others who do not advertise on sites like Travelocity or Expedia. For example, EasyJet do STN-AGP for UKP57, or about HK$650.
