What is the cheapest method of shipping for my business?
We have been struggling financially for a couple years. My solution was to sell our home decor online, as well. I am in the process of creating the website. Can you tell me what the cheapest method of shipping would be? I have never shipped a thing in my life, aside from a first class letter or bill. Help!

As a small business owner, I completely understand why you want to find the cheapest shipping method for your business. I sell items on eBay. Since I pass along the cost of shipping to the customer, I had to find the cheapest way to ship items. If customers think the shipping is too high, it can be a deterrent.
The size of you packages and the method of shipping you choose has a great impact on cost. I use the US Postal Service. My packages are generally small—up to twelve inches square—and they offer the cheapest shipping. If your items an fit into a box up to that size, they are your best bet. I have to add that their Priority shipping boxes are free to you! That will definitely save you money. If your packages will be larger than that, you will want to compare the rates of USPS and FedEx or the like. I hope USPS will work for you. If you accept payments through PayPal, you can print your shipping labels from there. Here is a link to their website: http://www.usps.com/
