What is the bloodiest, most violent Anime ever created, and why?
Over at the MahaloVideoGames YouTube channel, we have weekly contests where we give away free video games and occasionally other cool stuff. Check out our channel here: http://www.youtube.com/MahaloVideoGames
So the last contest question was based around who was the biggest bad-ass in all of Middle-Earth.
Well, this week we tried to think of something even bigger than that, and our question is also inspired by Afro Samurai:
"What is the bloodiest, most violent anime ever created, and why?"
The best detailed/thought-out answer will win Afro Samurai for the Xbox 360, but that's not all... the winner will also receive this here "One-of-a-kind" action figure of the man himself, Afro Samurai!

Few quick notes: You can post your answer to this question here on MA, but in order for it to count, you must also post your answer to this question in the comments to the video above. And you MUST be a subscriber to win. Thanks!
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Any anime/manga forum you go on usually has a debate about violent/gory anime. While each person usually has their own unique choices, the two that are on almost everyone's list are Berserk and Ninja Scroll.
Here is a excerpt from an article about Berserk:
"Berserk mixes horror, fantasy and medieval warfare, with tons of violence and gore (even for the rather high manga standard): this and the occasional sex scenes and nudity make the manga most definitely not appropriate for young readers."
And one about Ninja Scroll:
"Ninja Scroll also contains some of the most graphic and gratuitous scenes of violence and rape that I have ever seen in anime, movies, or otherwise. Definitely not something you'd want to take home to the family...If you're easily offended in any way, you'll be in for trouble."
I think if you were to give a little time to either of these you would find that not only is there PLENTY of violence and gore, but each anime also is capable of carrying a strong storyline with it, so it isn't JUST a bloodfest (although it certainly does flow in both of these titles).

M$Girls are killing themselves by banging their heads on knives.
And the girls are hacking at each other with knives and driving nails through fingers.
