What is the best way to warm a cheeseburger and fries?

I have a leftover cheeseburger and fries from my dinner last night. I'd like to heat it up for lunch, but is it best to microwave it? What about the oven? I'd like to best preserve the original texture and flavor!

If you only have a microwave available seperate the bun from your burger and microwave the meat until hot. probably 45 seconds or so depending on how cold your burger is and how powerful your microwave is. Then wrap your buns in a paper towel and microwave on half power for 10-15 seconds. (wrapping them in a paper towel will keep them from getting chewy as long as you don't overheat them) As for the fries they are not going to come out crispy in the microwave but you can place them in a dish and cover lightly while microwaving at half power for a 15 seconds at a time until hot.

If you have a toaster oven i would recommend using that. just remove the top bun from the burger and wrap the fries in tinfoil or spread them out evenly on the tray and set to 300 degrees. it will probably take at least five minutes.

The fries are easy - oven to 400F (200C), and throw them in for a few (5-8) minutes, or until the outsides are a little crispy again.

Cheeseburger is a bit tricky. If possible, strip the cheeseburger down to cheesy meat and put it in with the fries. When you take them out, do a fresh bun and condiments for the best results. If you can't get it apart, microwave will work (either use a "reheat" setting or for 1.5 - 2 min on a medium power setting), but it makes the bun chewy.

If it ends up a shade chewy, fresh lettuce and a slice of tomato go a long way to help salvage lunchtime.
