If you want all the information to be on both pages you can post a status update via Facebook and it will push the information to Twitter.
In my experience the latter always seem to go down and miss the posting of updates where as the first one works very reliably.

Both of these sites will do just what you are saying and they do a great job. Actually I think Seesmic just bought Ping.fm
