What is the best way to throw a wedding reception with out a lot of money? What type of foods would you use?
So if you were getting married, and the actual wedding has actually taken a lot more of your money, how would you still throw an amazing wedding reception with a small amount of money? Would you try to cook most of the things by yourself, or would you still try to invest a little in some caterer? Would would be acceptable and cheap food ideas, to have at the reception? Would you just go with light snack type food items?

I was amazed at how much there is to throwing and planning weddings and all the events and details around them. I arranged the pages in the order that I think the top pages sound like they would save the most money. I would assume that hiring a wedding planner and having the event at a first class hotel might be the most expensive. But I wonder if it really is cheaper to make and do every little detail yourself rather than look at price shopping for good to excellent quality hotels/caterers that may have a special bulk price where you can add some bits in yourself? Check it out yourself. I still think that eloping would be the cheapest! :)
