What is the best way to send out a link to a podcast?

I host/produce a podcast and want to send out the link so people can listen to it.

It's on iTunes and I have a wordpress blog that holds show notes and a way to listen to the podcast from the blog/web page.

I want both Mac and PC users to be able to access the podcast.

What is the best link I can e-mail/twitter people?  The iTunes link?  The web page link?  Something else?

Here are the links if you need them:
iTunes: http://www.itunes.com/podcast?id=284995553
Blog: http://www.kivaspirit.org/blog/?cat=27

(By the way, the latest episode is an interview with our current queen, Queen Darcy on the secret of success.)
Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

If you have an international audience or listeners using operating systems other than Windows or OS X (e.g. Linux), I wouldn't use any links to iTunes as there still are alternatives to iTunes and not everyone is using it. If you're linking to items other than podcasts, the URL will only work for the US store but not iTunes store of other countries.

Btw, the iTunes link you provided in your question doesn't work for me.

This would be the URL for your most recent podcast that works for me:
http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?i=49275426&id=284995553

Best would be a link to your blog and within your blog, you may integrate a player to listen live (flash) and set up a SUBSCRIBE button as well as an RSS button. People are already used to those features and expecting them.

Have a look at blogs of popular podcasts, e.g. TWiT at http://twit.tv and spy on them how they solve the problem. Lately, I can see a trend towards listening live instead of downloading and synchronizing with portable devices. Best would be to offer both.

hi drmatt, i think the best way is to have multiple links to the podcast. 1 link to the RSS feed, 1 link to a 1-click subscribe in iTunes and another link to the blog. see http://boagworld.com for an example.
