How sweet! I saved a lock of hair from each of my children's first haircuts. I went to Hobby Lobby. You can go to any craft store. I bought small clear jewelry bags. They are just like a zip lock bag but smaller. I tied a pretty ribbon in the middle of the locket of hair (blue for my son and pink for my daughter) and placed it in the bag. My son is almost 19 and it stayed preserved perfectly. You can get the craft ribbon while you are shopping for the bags.
If you are not in the mood for a special shopping trip I zip lock bag will also work.
My kids are older, so I am not sure if there are any newer, cooler methods. But this worked perfect for us. We went as far as creating a picture frame border around the plastic bag. The scrapbook page looks awesome! Be sure to take a picture of your baby getting the haircut, as well, to add to the page!
