What is the best way to learn to build computers?

Tip for best answer: M$0.14
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

School is important for learning most anything, however I find when it comes to building most anything, I learn most when I take something apart, therefore I would recommend getting an old computer & taking it apart, learn what each component is & what it does, where it goes & so forth. I approach building things like I would a jigsaw puzzle, get yourself a guide of some sort & carry on... If nothing else you will have a great appreciation for those minds who can design such things. I bid you good luck!

The only wat that I know is to enroll in college for engineering classes. If you have the ambition, you will probably pick up really fast. And, a person can start the classes (freshmen and sophmore year) at the junior college (community college). Some 2 year colleges have 2 year associate degree programs for that area of study. It helps to talk directly with a school counselor so that they can help you get a list of classes which you need to take.
