What is the best way to get a ride in Jason Calacanis's cool sports car?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Note: you would have to be checked out by my security detail (Tyler) to make sure that you're not a serial killer.

M$Second, get a good hitchhiking sign and make sure it up and visible as he passes.
(Please note @barty: it might also help to be blonde, tan and almost naked...)

M$I think I would only be eligible for a free ride on @jeffhoard's scooter.
you planning to try it? :P
Well .... I am kinda tanned. However, since I am an overweight, over 50 guy I don't anyone would really want to see me naked. Heck, I don't even want to see me naked. :-)
I would probably get run over if I tried that, but thanks for the suggestion anyway.
Bribe him?
Offer to help work at Mahalo HQ to help sort out bugs?
Offer to do his laundry?
Cook him a bbq labor Day weekend?
Offer your services to him for Thanksgiving or Christmas?

M$I donno if getting a ride in his car would be all that exciting really. Sure, he seems to know a lot about Tesla but I'd rather have a ride beside a dealer in one of the new models. They'd know lots of great things about the car and would likely be happy to share. At the very least, it's not at all creepy to go for a test drive in a dealers car :)
On the flip side, if you really want a ride in his car, I suspect that there is an ulterior motive. Maybe you want to pick his brain about forming a new business, or wonder how you can get VC funded, or maybe you're just interested to chat with him.
I think he seems like a pretty approachable guy. Busy, but approachable.
If I'm right about wanting to chat, I'd head to one of the conferences he attends. All sorts of folks go there to network and talk. I'm sure that if you picked your time right (maybe at the bar after a breakout), he'd be more than happy to have a conversation. Heck, maybe even start it by saying how much you like his car.... he'd probably like that :)

M$I'm half joking, half serious. Could be some great guerrilla marketing if you promise to walk around the mall every day for a week with that on your head. ;)

M$The longest, but also safest way is probably to get a job at Mahalo HQ and ask nicely after you've been employed for a few months.

M$But anyway, you want to get a ride in his car, have a nice business plan and tell him you will discuss about it while he gives you a ride. Careful, you need to convince him it a very good business plan.

lol - your shirt matches your car :) How did Adam not make a joke about that?
Just poking fun :) It's a nice shirt and of course a crazy awesome car.
As Jason mentioned... holding an axe would automatically disqualify any Mahaloian.
I will have to work on that. Love hearing you on TWIT, I will definitely have to listen to TWIS.
Santa Monica is nice at sunset. Would make a cool ride. :-)
