Hi Cachemoney!

The best way to cook pasta is to cook the pasta 'al dente '. Al dente is an Italian description of cooking pasta until it is firm and not too soft but also not hard, and completely cooked through. When pasta is cooked for too long, it becomes too soft and squishy and loses its texture and capacity to hold the flavor of any accompanied sauces. When you cook pasta, it is very important to slightly salt the water and wait for the water to come to a complete boil before the pasta is added to the water. This ensures that the pasta is cooked the right amount of minimal time and temperature before it is ready to be served.

There are more than 100 different pasta dishes of which some include popular pasta dishes such as bolognese, lasagna, vongole, carbonara and canneloni. Pasta can be combined with most sauces and side dishes but my number one favorite type of pasta recipes has to include Southern Italian pasta recipes, which includes the original Sicilian Lasagna recipe. This recipe includes the Sicilian homemade sausage and/or meatballs, and is very moorish.
