Hi @burb! According to gamerankings.com, the best video game of all time is The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, from Nintendo released in 1998. This game is an action-adventure which was released in Japan in November 21, 1998.
This was originally dveloped for the Nintendo 64DD periphera. Ocarina of Time's gameplay system introduced features like target lock system and context-sensitive buttons that has become common elements in 3D adventure games. It has sold about 820,000 copies in Japan alone. It also became the tenth-selling game of that year.
