Research on lung function, body rhythms, temperature, and hormone levels says one thing - to exercise around 6 pm.

But i think Time of day doesn't matter intensity does.

Instead of doing 30 minutes at a constant speed, switch to 15-20 minutes of intervals:
5 minute warm up
1 minute max speed
1 minute very slow
Repeat 3-4 times
5 minute cool down.

Basically, choose a time of day you can stick with, so that exercise becomes a habit. Your body clock also plays an important role. It is governed by the 24-hour pattern of the earth’s rotation.

These rhythms influence body functions such as blood pressure, body temperature, hormone levels, and heart rate, all of which play a role in your body's readiness for exercise.

I used to be concerned with picking the right time to exercise. However, I discovered that it didn't really matter all that much when you exercise, as long as you actually go out and do it. It's far more important to exercise regularly than to pick a single time of day to do it.

For me, I love exercising at lunchtime. This may not be the optimal time, health wise, but it's a time I can stick with, and that's far more important.

It depends, are you on a regular 9 to 5 schedule, then you might want to try the morning, and stick to it. I've been told the best time of the day to exercise is in the morning if you want to eliminate distractions and get it out of the way for the full day to come. If you want to perform the best, you may want to choose the late afternoon. The studies have shown that there is no ideal time to exercise, yet one doctor has claimed that the late afternoon is a good time. Any time you choose to exercise, you should stick to that routine, as then you do not have to think about the time, you just know that time.

As far as I know there's no best time for exercise in general. It really depends on your life style, daily routine, metabolism, etc. You could try out few different times and than you might find out what suits you the best. Or you can also check with your doctor. He/she should be able to give you an professional advice.

Personally, I have found that it's really best to exercise when you have most energy, in the morning if you are a morning person, and in the evening if that's when you're most alert. The more energy you have, the harder you can work out.

There seems to be conflicting research on this. Some studies say it's better to exercise in the morning because you sleep better in the evening then. Besides that, there does not seem to be consensus that any time would be better.
Moreover, experts usually say you should eat something high in carbs a few hours before working out, but avoid eating about two to four hours before working out, depending on the size of the meal. So it's a wise idea to time your exercise after the time of your meals, rather than the time of the day.

The best time is evening but 2 hours before going to bed (for strong exercises and running).

That exercise can be at any time.
