What is the best thai food restaurant on the west side?

Preferably in the Venice/Santa Monica area.
Tip for best answer: M$0.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

My vote is for Natalee Thai. It is down the street from Thai Boom, also on Venice Blvd. Every dish I've tried there has been consistently excellent and the decor is hip. They also have healthy options such as steamed fish with bok choy and mushrooms (one of my favorites) and brown rice. The price is comparable to most Thai restaurants.

And from the high ratings on CitySearch, I think the public concurs. Happy dining!

While not technically in Santa Monica or Venice, it is on Venice Blvd (in West LA), Thai Boom is my favorite Thai restaurant in all of Los Angeles. Amazing food and great prices. Don't miss the Orange Chicken - it's the best I've ever eaten.

I second Thai Boom. Walking distance from my apartment. Delicious.
