What is the best software for virus protection?

Tom

Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

It is a little spendy, but i currently use Trend Micro, which works amazingly with firefox. If you're looking for free software, make sure you're using firefox, with built in internet security. This will help protect you from the internet viruses, and it will tell you sites that could potentially bad for your computer. Then download AVG. This will give you AVG for your computer, the trial is FREE, and then you will have firefox, and firefox internet protection while using the internet

Norton is the best selling Antivirus. However if you are looking a free home version then try AVG or Avast.

My office has been using BitDefender rather successfully for over 3 years. Prior to that we used Nortons.
