M$Tops on my list would be Aspen, especially Aspen Highlands. Yes, Aspen is expensive, but the lack of crowds (because it's so far away from the Front Range) and great snow is worth it.
Vail is great because it has a lot of terrain and wide open bowls. It can get crowded though. If you have a longer trip and ski at Vail, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin are nearby and worth trips too. For bump skiing, Winter Park is terrific. A lot of people also really like Telluride. I haven't been there to ski, but the town is quaint and I think it has quite a bit of expert terrain.
Hope that helps some.
