What is the best site (free or paid) for tracking a health plan (workouts, food, etc) and recieving help from a health coach (paid ofc)?

Just trying to find a good site to keep track of things like calorie intake and what I burn during a workout. Also to show workout improvements ie. weight lifting capability (max reps, max weight). Requirements are that it has a good interface and either direct or indirect access to REAL health coaches (the ones you pay money for that know their stuff!).

Looking for a whole package here. I am sick of trying to keep track of things in a spreadsheet or scribbled notes or in my head.

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Spark People is a great health community. I've been there for a couple of years. You connect with people who have similar health goals and motivate each other.

Well I am a P90X coach and I can say the best site for this is teambeachbody.com.. You can track everything here for free. You will just have to enter customized workouts if you are not doing any of the workouts offered from teambeachobody. Also make sure to do the free memebership and if it ask for a referral add mrsixpack (thats me) :O)

Good luck and happy holidays

I don't recommend P90 for beginners at all. If you're a beginner you should be focusing on cardio and mental fitness.
(More so mental fitness believe it or not)

Got more details? Whats the difference between the free and paid? How does the site integrate personal trainers?

I would look at the following and see which fits your tastes the best:

- Fitday.com
- CalorieCount.com (this is the one that I use)
- FatSecret.com
- DailyPlate.com (this was formerly LiveStrong I think)
- I don't have an iPhone, but if you do, there is an app called LoseIt (has both a free and paid I believe) that I know is pretty awesome.

I know these apps cover food / calories as well as calories burned. There might be some that also focus on more details of the actual workout too. Hope this helps!

Have a great day!

You might also want to add http://www.sparkpeople.com/ to this .
I haven't tried it at all myself, but ive heard some good things.
It might be worth investigating as well (just saying).

While I agree youtube is great for finding different workout routines etc. It doesnt have a way of tracking progress at all.

Youtube might not be a great place to track workouts, but their is LOADS of info there on what to look for. Good answer.

Next time fluff it up a little and add extra sources.
