I have sensitive skin and what I have found that works the best is Every Man Jack Shave Gel.
After trying just about every shaving gel/cream product out there including products from high end Aveda I now buy Every Man Jack skin care products exclusively.

These are the products in my shaving kit right now

It is relatively inexpensive and readily available (I buy it at Target) Every Man Jack products have no fragrance or other skin irritating ingredients. I use the whole line now from a few of their face washes to after shave moisturizing gel too. A+ in my book and I don't see myself shopping for a new brand anytime soon.

Every Man Jack made the Oprah's Favorite Things 2008 list as well.

My husband uses Burt's Bees Shaving Gel. It is all natural ingredients, and the only one that doesn't tear up his skin. It also has soothing ingredients to calm the skin from the irritation from the blade. Try it and see!

I dont know any brand names, but shaving oils are great for sensitive skin. They prevent razor rash much better than creams, foams and gels because its an oil. Less friction from the razor. They also soften the hair so the razor cuts through it much easier. I personally just use baby oil, as I suffer from eczema and nearly everything irritates my skin, including the razor, but baby oil seems to prevent razor rash and irritation. You can find oils particularly made for shaving though. You dont need much oil compared to shaving cream either.

Oh, by the way, I am a girl. I dont shave my face, I shave my legs among other things instead. Baby oil still does a great job though, and a shaving oil specifically designed for the face would do a better job.
