All of these HBO original series share similar traits in common; great actors, great writing, and great direction. Use whatever positive adjectives you'd like, it makes no difference. The combination of actors, writing and direction for all of these shows rival that... no, actually they are BETTER than many of the feature movies that play at your local theater.
If I had to pick from the current shows, it would be "In Treatment". The new season starts this Sunday at 9:00 p.m. (ET). Do yourself a favor and do not miss it!
