What is the best place for breakfast in Gramercy Park, NYC?
And why? Things to consider being cost, food quality, service, accessibility, etc.

My hands down favorite place for breakfast in Gramercy Park is...
Gramercy Cafe
It's on the southwest corner of 17th St. and 3rd Ave.
They have a seating section along the sidewalk of 17th St. that's inside a greenhouse glass type area. It is very pleasant to sit there in the morning and bask in the sun.
If you go there before 11AM you can get one of their breakfast specials. I always get their two egg breakfast special which is:
2 eggs any style
home fries
2 slices of toast with butter/jam
tea or coffee
small glass of fresh squeezed orange juice (AMAZING!)
This wonderful assortment of food is only $4.95 but the experience itself is always enjoyable.
It isn't a fancy place but the service is also quite fast. Typically, your food is in front of you only minutes after ordering and is hot and fresh.

The place above is my favorite place to eat breakfast myself on weekends due to the price and overall experience. If you want a really popular brunch place with a waiting line on the sidewalk on the weekends, I would say Irving Farm on Irving Place between 18th and 19th.
I can't type what I mean... it isn't Irving Farm it's Friend of a Farmer. Oops!
