What is the best pair of headphones (or headphone) that can be used discretely?

I need a pair of headphones that are as invisible to the eye as possible. I would like something that is flesh colored or clear so that if someone looks at me, they will not likely notice that I am listening to anything.
- I only use one ear at a time, so I wouldn't mind a single earbud, as long as I am able to switch it from ear to ear.
-Obviously I want something that is comfortable and won't come out of my ear readily. (i would prefer an answer from someone who has experience with a product)
-relatively inexpensive. (say <$80)
-standard 3.5mm jack
Tip for best answer: M$2.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

The Sensorcom MicroBuds are incredibly small (10.7 mm in diameter). They are claimed to "practically disappear in your ear" because of the flexible tip that pushes inside your ear. They come in black or beige (flesh colored). The wires are also very thin. They are $49.95.

Another option would be the Etymotic ER6i headphones. They are structured very similarly to the MicroBuds, but also have high sound-quality and noise isolation. They don't come in a flesh-colored option, but there is a white/clear option. They are $80.34 on Amazon at the moment.

The inexpensive part of your request makes this difficult. Your requirements are those of higher end headsets but the $80 limit is a bit constraining.

Namely, the "invisible" part of that is a toughy.

1)
These do not meet your inexpensive requirement. But they are the best and meet all of your other requirements:

I have personal experience with these.

Check your health coverage and talk to an audiologist and your Doctor about a prescription for them. Some health plans (mine) will cover them.

2)
Next, Shure makes very good headphones and while they're not invisible, they are small and $89:

I also have personal experience with these. They sound really great.

3)
Spy shops carry wireless inner ear headsets:

They're over $100.

4)
Costume and theater stores carry paint and can match it to your skin tone. It would be possible to obtain the Shure headset or any other regular small headset and paint them to match your skin tone.

5)
Ebay has several to choose from:

I used to use these all the time on airplanes when I wanted to listen during takeoff and landing. (I know, I'm that guy.)

The advantage of this design is that the wire is designed to go around the back of the neck, so that there's not an obvious wire "v" hanging down in front of you. In my case I would drop the wire to the unit on the side away from the aisle. Very discrete. And quite frankly, while the bass was not perfect, it was pretty dang good for a $19 pair of headphones. Not my first choice for listening, but definitely one of the best from not being seen. There are more expensive headphones that use this wire design, as well.

Try Z.buds, they run for $79. Of course there are ones that are more that are wireless, but these are in your price range, and tiny. I'm sure you can paint them a flesh color.

I think he wants headphones that are hard to see, not quality.

Unhelpful? They might not be the style or color you wanted but they are exceptional quality and ear buds. I am starting to think the only person who should be picking Unhelpful is the person asking the question.
