What is the best, most exciting comeback in the history of college bowl games?

Tip for best answer: M$0.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

How about Texas Tech coming back when down 38 to 7 at half time against the Minnesota Gophers in the 2006 Insight Bowl. It holds the record for the Bowl Championship Series for blown leads.

Good game! My fav is the 1980 Holiday Bowl, BYU v. SMU. BYU down by 20 with about half of the 4th qtr left. Came back to win on the last play. It had onsides kicks, blocked punts and a hail mary pass to finish it off. Jim McMahon was the QB.Eric Dickerson & Craig James with the "pony express for SMU. The Holiday bowl seems to have their share of good finishes.

Also, Boise State v. Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl. Just about every gadget play in the book and a few made up on the sidelines it seems.

The best comeback ever is definitely the one in Texas Tech vs Minnesota. Check out the first video for a clip-by-clip rundown.

I think the best football comeback ever is the second video, which will blow your mind :)
