Personally I like The Sixth Sense, because until the last moment, you can't imagine Bruce Willis to be a ghost. ( Oops. Is this what you call a spoiler? :P )

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I like ''The Sixth Sense'' a great deal, and ''Signs'' kind of falls apart for me but still has a lot of good material. However, my favorite of M. Night's films is ''Unbreakable''.

''Sixth Sense'' largely turns on its twist, and is satisfying on repeat viewings mainly in how you notice little details and clues he threw in along the way.

''Unbreakable'', on the other hand, is far more complex and tells a more nuanced, thoughtful story. I find that it holds up to repeat viewings better. As well, it has unbelievably beautiful cinematography and some fantastic, subtle costume and design choices. It's really kind of a perfect little drama, a fairly simple, compelling story about a family in crisis with just enough action and fantasy elements to keep things unpredictable and compelling.

Without a doubt The Sixth Sense. The rest have simply played off the surprise gimmick he created with that one and you aren't even surprised anymore. Now you can almost always guess the "surprise" ending. Makes me a bit sad.

Unbreakable was a good movie. All of his other movies are seriously overrated, especially the Village. Signs doesn't make any sense. If your an alien species who is destroyed by water, when you were cruising up to the Earth and you noticed how blue it was, wouldn't you keep going?
