What is the best job in the US based on average salary and stress levels?

Tip for best answer: M$0.16
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

The best job based on salary would be a pro athlete. The best job based on stress level would be a musical instrument repair man.

You have to be very gifted to earn a lot as a pro athlete. A musical instrument man might have a low stress job but it doesn't pay that much.

There are a few professional bloggers that earn a lot but if a survey was conducted I doubt the average salary would be that much.

In all seriousness, I'd say a porn star:

The average American porn star's yearly salary is $200,000 a year. and if the porn star is on the high end she/he makes between half a million to 1 million a year, and that is not counting all of the endorsements and advertising that they do.

And porn stars have almost no stress. They work neither with their brains nor do they engage in physical labor. All they do is have sex and orgasm and dollars flow in.

$200,000 a year is a grossly inflated figure. As @informaticus remarked, from your source that would imply 200-1000 shoots a year, 1-3 shoots a day. That's not very realistic.

I'm curious where you got the annual salary figure. Your source states $200-1000/shoot, which means they'd have to do 200-1000 shoots/year...
