My favorite for best holding hairspray is Aussie Instant Freeze Hair Spray. It has super hold and is perfect to hold updos in place.
You can find Aussie Instant Freeze at many retailers that carry hair care products. We found the spray at our local pharmacy, bit they carry it at Kmart and Walmart, as well.
It is fairly inexpensive. I have seen it as cheap as just $4.
When it comes to great holding hairspray, the good news is you do not need to pay a fortune. I actually like Aqua Net, as well. It ranks second place on my list. Aqua Net is easy to find and can be purchased for about $3 or $4.
