What is the best green tea to drink?

I am looking for not only the best tasting (I realize this is subjective), but also looking for the best for you.

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I personally recommend the Green Tea Frappuccino at Starbucks. Add some peppermint syrup to it, and it's great, possibly the world's best green tea smoothie you'll ever enjoy. If you're looking for something less filling, you might go with the Tazo Green Tea, the Tazo Zen Iced Green Tea.

I run an interactive tea website for tea ratings and reviews; you may find it useful if you're interested in reading people's reviews of green teas, and learning about different brands and varieties of green tea:

What's my personal favorite green tea? That would be a long-leaf green tea that I had from Makaibari estate in Darjeeling, India. Unfortunately, it's not currently available, but a new batch may be available in the future. You can read my review if interested:

What's one of my favorite everyday green teas? I like Upton Tea Import's Chun Mee Dao Ming:

It's a Chinese green tea with a bold and complex flavor and aroma. There are so many green teas that I love though. I love green teas from all regions...Japan, China, even India, Thailand, Laos, and Sri Lanka. I find green tea to be amazingly diverse.

While the Starbucks Green Tea Frappuccino might be delicious, it's not the best green tea for you in terms of nutritional content and is more of a dessert than a tea.

If you're looking for a delicious, light, healthy, AND zero calorie tea, try our green loose leaf teas at The Tea Spot online shop. In particular, I think you'd like our Boulder Blues loose tea, which is our best selling green tea at http://theteaspot.com/boulder-blues-loose-green-tea.html?catid=255.

It's received rave reviews by Steepster tea drinking aficionado as well! Check out tasting notes at http://steepster.com/teas/the-tea-spot/1327-boulder-blues.
