M$If your going to have your own site you must decide what kind of site you want.
Do you want a blog, a homepage, or Groups site. What web programing languages do you know? Do you need a GUI to make a website because you don't know how to program? Do you know any of these programing languages? HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, perl, CGI, XHTML, DHTML, XML, ASP, ASP2.0, PHP, Coldfusion, well there's more, which do you need or want to use? How much space do you need? How much bandwidth? Do you need to run a database? Do you want a real domain name? Do want adds on your site?
These are the things you need to consider, before I can really help you.
Here is a add free site with lots of space.
