You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

It's a relatively obscure Microsoft tool, and it's not supported currently.
That being said, I've never had any problems with it, just mount your iso to a virtual drive and point your media player at it.
I first ran across this tool after reading the following article a while back:

M$To play a movie that is saved in ISO file format on Mac OS X, start the built-in DVD Player (find it in the Applications Folder, and it won’t be on the Dock at the bottom of your screen by default).
Then in Finder (or on your Desktop) double click the ISO file to "mount" the ISO movie file. Apple DVD Player will automatically recognize that a movie DVD has been loaded and will start playing the movie immediately.

Yes. VLC Player is the best.
Daemon Tools always runs in the background so it does take processing power (even though it's slight) from the CPU. This is bad if you have an old machine.
So try VLC. It'll be your best bet.
