What is the best external USB SCSI controller? (details below)

Been trying to find an external USB SCSI controller that supports a good variety of SCSI interfaces (SCSI 2, 3, 320, 640, etc). I need it to be USB so I can use it with a laptop for accessing tape drives without having to mess with a desktop controller card. If there arent any that support more than one SCSI type I might be interested in getting those anyway, so list them as well! An external enclosure or simple SCSI to USB cable is what I am looking for but anything outside that could be usefull also.

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I used to work at a small tech shop and we had the Adaptec USB SCSI adapters and they seemed to work rather well. I have a link for you. I am not sure if it is the all-in-one solution you need, but it sounds like it could be a simple solution.
