M$You are correct, the T2i will be superior until Nikon releases a new mid-range model later this year. Until they do there is no direct comparison, they're too different.
I think this is debatable. How is this camera better than the Nikon D90?
I believe this camera has also had it's position usurped by the Canon T2i. I'm not an expert, but I'd love to hear from somebody who can tell me more about the T2i, and it's strengths / weaknesses vs the Nikon D90.
