What is the best christmas movie of all time?

A list of the top 50 christmas movies is at: http://www.filmsuggest.com/50-greatest-christmas-movies-of-all-time Do you agree/disagree?
Tip for best answer: M$0.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Has to be 'It's a Wonderful Life' because of the simplicity of its message and the fact that no matter how many times you watch it, it catches you emotionally. It also shows the better side of human nature - coming together in hard economic times. It's the kind of message we need when consumerism is so rampant now.

The best christmas movie is "Home Alone 3" because the kid looked like me when I was little. :)

Absolutely 'A Christmas Story'.

Next would have to be Polar Express. Absolutely one of my favorite books when I was growing up. Still read it every Christmas time.

Well I see Love Actually on there and even though its a Chick Flick I do agree that it is one of the best Christmas movies that exist.

Definitely one of my favorites.

I specifically clicked on this thread to give the same answer - Love Actually! I'm certainly not the first to mention it but just wanted to second this opinion.

I love the Shop Around the Corner and Elf -- they're both on the list, so I think it looks pretty thorough.

For me it's Die Hard (Bruce Willis.) Great movie. Very Christmassy, but not sappy. Classic action movie too.

edit: Thinks again. ..okay, it is sappy in a couple of parts. But far less than many other a Christmas flick. ;)

The best Christmas movie of all time is Christmas Vacation. I thought that more people would have said this. I am surprised.

When you translate "What is the best Christmas movie of all time?" into reality, it reads "What is the Muppet Christmas Carol?" Allow me. The Muppet Christmas carol is: funny even though I'm older now, charming, creative, entertaining and it packs a valuable life lesson for everyone, religious or no.

It's hard to fade "A Christmas Story," which is rightfully a beloved classic. I'm also kind of partial to "Scrooged," if only for the Bill Murray factor.

And while we don't want to scare the Dickens out of people, my vote for creepiest, most insane Christmas movie goes to Louis Jackson's "Christmas Evil," sometimes referred to as "You'd Better Watch Out":
