What is the best brand of espresso beans/grinds to gift?

A friend's birthday is coming up and someone is getting him an espresso machine. I figured a good gift from me would be to get actual espresso beans /grinds to go with that. So I'm looking for suggestions. Any other espresso related gift ideas are welcome. Have at it.
Tip for best answer: M$3.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Peet's Coffee
Some of the original founders of Starbucks actually sold Starbucks to focus on Peets, because they wanted to focus on better quality rather than mass quantity and expansion. Oprah recommends it, too!

ATTIVO ESPRESSO BLEND
After a long time of testing, we finally have an espresso blend we feel comfortable offering. In true espresso fashion we have choosen an Italian word which best describes this wonderful blend of coffees. Attivo, in Italian is the adjective form of the word live, as in active. This is exactly the experience this coffee brings to every shot.

Well, for a gift, unless the guy is really knowledgeable about good espresso, I'd get him a double: a small amount of something with decent espresso but a pretty package, and then something really terrific, regardless of the package. If he knows good espresso, then get him something good, period.

According to Coffee Review, many of Coffee Klatch's offerings rank above most others. You can find reviews of all kinds of brands of espresso there. Try Coffee Klatch's 2008 U.S. Competition Blend, Belle Espresso, or WBC "World's Best Coffee".
