The best gun I have PERSONALY found would be the Liquid Penetrator (sniper rifle). Make no mistake, this weapon is a beast; and I'll tell you why:

97.1 accuracy
4.5 fire rate

And although a green rarity item, what these weapon stats dont tell you; This Sniper Rifle is FULLY AUTOMATIC. Yes, with level 50 efficiency added this sniper shoots accurately like a machine gun in fastness. The ultimate PvM/PvP (Person verses monster, person verses Person).
My second favorite would be the alien shotgun, or more commonly known as:
101 Thunder
280x8 damage (with the level 49 required type)
Flavor text: Lightning never strikes twice in the same spot, but it can strike freaking everywhere.
And I will give an honorable mention to both my pistol and sniper that I use as back up:
Pistol has 696 damage, and replinishes ammo +18, as well as has a sniper scope on it.
My Sniper does 969 damage, .4 firerate, 2.4 zoom. It kills most level 50's in one hit, both monster and person (and thats excluding the critical hit).

i found the most powerful gun in the game. dont argue with me. its in the book. the 101001 cannon is the best. most damage, inf ammo insta kill. i killed the destroyer in 5 shots

i think have the best gun in the game....desert penetrator... 668 dmg and 4.6 fire rate...10 bullets. followed by my other sniper...vicious orion 667 dmg..1.4 fire rate x4 lightning 16 bullets
I found a gun in a sorta glitch area. the only way i got to it was because a flying guardian thing (dunno the exact name) hit me and i went flying, and then i was like 200ft off the map, but it was a house with a functioning door. there was a combat rifle called the "Muff" and in red text it said, "umm......" shoots 4x explosion 170dmg 19.5 firerate, accuracy 82%, had 70% recoil reduct., 56% rof, 106% dmg, 250% blast, 4.1 zoom, 50clip, 3 round burst with a rocket spray at the end of it. i ended up having to committ suicide because there was no possible way to get bak up. idk wtf it is, i've researched it on youtube, and i didnt know how to put up a xbox video. i wrote all of it down, since i was losing my xbox but its on the the lvl b4 the vault, killed the last boss in 2 mags with it. the gun itself looks funky but look near the end of the area b4 the final boss, its an odd shaped out jutting off of the mainland part, its very low from the main land mass, i wish i could give more details but i can't remember much.
Not to sound rude, but these weapons are horrid. A pistol that shoots fast and does near to no damage to compensate. They do, however, add to my gold everytime I find them due to selling to the vendors.
I am EXTREMELY jealous of you right now. My sniper only does 300ish damage with a 2.4 fire rate (and great accuracy).. i do have one doing around 400 damage, but it's got a terrible fire rate :(. My revolvers all do around 150dmg, and with no scope.

beleive it or not it's not modded either. i got the sniper off of the playthrough 2 end game boss. i kill him alot since i help alot of my friends level up to 50. With the hunter sniper skills completely up'ed i can easily hit 10k dmg a shot and 20-30k dmg with criticals. I also have a really good battle rifle that does

Both of those weapons are modded man, there are no parts to weapons in the game that are equivalent to that much damage. Trust me.
