What is the best Bluetooth Headset for the iPhone 4 (running 4.0)?
Based on the infamous poor Bluetooth Headset performance of the iPhone 4 running iOS4.0, are there any products which actually work as they should? I'm probably going to jailbreak using "limera1n" and upgrade to 4.1, so any iOS4.1 solutions are most welcome.

Hi,
when it comes to iOS 4.0, it doesn't have such a huge problem with Bluetooth headset as in iOS 4.1. The problem is said to be worsen because most of the Bluetooth headset works poorly/not working at all with iOS 4.1 in the iPhone 4.
However, after searching for a solution, I found out that a few BH managed to worked fine, provided that the user did a magical procedure first before using the headset. The magical procedure are (in the writer's own words):
"I have discovered a solution. It's hardly ideal, but it generally works and renders your £200 headphones useful again.
On your iPhone, the iPod app must be open, either on screen or at least in the multitasking bar. It will not work if the iPod app is closed, nor will it work from sleep, infact, from sleep with ipod app closed it will **** near crash your iPhone.
So, with iPod app open, turn on your BH-905's - as soon as your hear the confirmation ascending tone in your headphones, tap the play button on your headphones a minimum of 3 times in quick succession. Music will start to play... From this point, the headphones will work as normal, until you turn them off again.
So, recap:
(1) iPod app open
(2) Power on BH-905 headphones
(3) Immediately press play/pause button (on headphones) a minimum of 3 times, quickly, before the iPhone takes hold and renders them useless.
If you leave the phone to do its own thing, it will use the headphones as a phone headset no problem, but will not play music, and will also slow the iPhone, almost making it crash.
As with the old workaround, this may work with other Bluetooth headphones experiencing issues."
or, if it's still not working, use this:
"1. Power down the phones and clear the Nokia BH-405 profile from the iPhone BT screen.
2. Reset / restart the iPhone
3. Clear the Nokia phones (press volume-up plus multifunction until green/yellow flashing light). Reset the Nokia phones (volume-down plus multifunction plus rewind)
4. turn on bluetooth on the iPhone
5. Press and hold the multifunction key on the phones until blue light starts flashing
6. Pair the phones by pressing 'Nokia BH-905' in the BT screen on the iPhone.
7. Turn off the phones (hold multifunction)
8. Turn off then turn on BT on the iPhone
9. Start iPod (not necessary if already running in multitask tray)
10. Start the phones, on your head. When the power-up notes sound, press the play key multiple times. You will head the single high-pitched beep as Bluetooth connects.
11. Miraculously sound starts to come from the phones!"
