What is the best blackhead treatment available?

I would love to hear what blackhead treatment has worked for you. I have blackheads on my nose and have tried so many different products that claim to work, but do not. I would love to get rid of the blackheads once and for all. What is the BEST blackhead treatment available. At this point I will try anything, over the counter or home treatments. I prefer not to see a list from the internet of products, but rather simply a blackhead treatment you have tried with success.

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Quite honestly, the best treatment that I have found is diligent skin care. There are so many over the counter medications and treatments that can be purchased, but they only treat the blackheads you have, not condition your skin for those to come. So, I have stopped spending money on things like special cleansers or facial wash for blackheads. First I found a balance with washing, as washing too much will cause your skin to over react and produce more oils than needed. So once in the morning, and once in the evening. That's all. Also one a week I exfoliate my skin, but I just use a gentle facial wash and a wash cloth. This helps to wash away the dead skin cells that can build up in pores. I have oily skin, so controlling the dirt and oily build up is essential for me. However someone with especially dry skin, will need to moisturize their face, but I would advise you to do so gently. Too much moisture can lead to blackheads as well. Find a balance that keeps your face clean, for that is the only real way to prevent blackheads and keep your pores from getting clogged.
