Try Briefcase Lite first. I don't think AirShare has a lite version.
I prefer Briefcase because it is more responsive with larger documents/files. Also, you have broader options, as you can upload songs, pics, documents, spreadsheet, pdf's, etc. The downside is that it cuts off headers and footers in Word documents (but not in pdf's).
AirShare was nice because it previewed the entire document. However, it was often bogged down with bigger documents, sometime crashing the app.
