And then there is Avidemux, another solid tool for conversion, and my favorite for quickly turning a downloaded .flv into an easier-to-tinker-with format. Avidemux is available for Mac if you wanted something for that specifically, going by your screenshot. I wasn't sure, though; if you do only have access to a Mac, ignore SUPER, as it is Windows only.

M$Unfortunately, the open source engine that is used in Visual Hub, is the exact same and already present in other Mac tools such as Handbrake.
Tyler and his - make you laugh-out-loud funniest release notes in software history, is what made Visual Hub stand out, and with out him... I fear none will compare.
