And then there is Avidemux, another solid tool for conversion, and my favorite for quickly turning a downloaded .flv into an easier-to-tinker-with format. Avidemux is available for Mac if you wanted something for that specifically, going by your screenshot. I wasn't sure, though; if you do only have access to a Mac, ignore SUPER, as it is Windows only.

Unfortunately, the open source engine that is used in Visual Hub, is the exact same and already present in other Mac tools such as Handbrake.
Tyler and his - make you laugh-out-loud funniest release notes in software history, is what made Visual Hub stand out, and with out him... I fear none will compare.
