The Phoenix Arena Football team is the Arizona Rattlers. The team was first established in 1992 and had a highly successful record in the Arena Football League. At this time the Rattlers home games were played at the Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix.
However, in 2008 despite it being a successful franchise the Arena Football League filed Bankruptcy shortly thereafter so did the Arizona Rattlers. In fact, it appeared as if Arena Football was all but over, especially when there was no 2009 season. But the franchise was revived in 2010, and so was the Arizona Rattlers team, who now play there at home game over at the US Airways Center
There is another Football team in Phoenix that belong to the NFL and that of course are the Arizona Cardinals.
