What is Tamiflu?

Is Tamiflu a cure for the flu? Does Tamiflu only reduce the length of the flu if treated within 48 hoursor will it prevent me from getting sick at all? Where can I find discounts or printable coupons for Tamiflu?

Tamiflu is approved as treatment for uncomplicated influeza A and B in children as young as 1 year old, and approved as a preventative of influenza in people 13 years and older.
However, there has been much research conducted to try to figure out if Tamiflu really helps in reducing flu symptoms, and the results of these studies do not support the use of Tamiflu.
In a lot of cases Tamiflu, only reduces the flu symptoms by a day to a day and a half. In most cases it actually does the opposite of the intended outcome. Because the vaccine has traces of the virus in it, it causes people to be more susceptible to the virus and often gives the consumer the symptoms of the virus. Because of the danger of vaccines, and the fact that they contain toxins, like mercury and aluminum, it is better to avoid vaccines, and, instead, take better care of your immune system. You can do this by getting the proper amount of sleep, eschewing a diet with sugar, regulating and maintaining the proper amount of Vitamin-D in your body, and exercising your body and mind.
Hope this helped!

Hi servicos!

Tamiflu is also known as Oseltamivir and I am afraid it is not a cure for the flu as the flu is not a curable condition but Tamiflu does treat the symptoms of flu if it is taken within 48 hours from when the flu symptoms began. Tamiflu not only helps to reduce the symptoms and slow down the progression of flu but it can also be used as a flu preventative in healthy adults and can also reduce the symptoms and development of swine flu (H1N1) in both adults and children over the age of one years. Tamiflu should not be thought of as an alternative to the flu or H1N1 vaccine.

You can find coupons and discounts for Tamiflu on several websites like patientassistance and optimizerx.

I am a registered nurse and I am familiar with this drug especially when the contagious disease called H1N1 affected almost the whole world.

Oseltamivir phosphate is the generic name of Tamiflu. It is a prescription drug used as a treatment for influenza or viral infection that affects the respiratory system. This medication can shorten the course of the flu if taken as soon as the symptoms start to appear. This is best taken within 48 hours after the onset of symptoms.

Tamiflu is available in capsule and suspension form. Regular adult dose for the treatment is one capsule twice daily for 5 days. If there is an outbreak in the community, it should be taken twice a day for 10 days or as prescribed by doctor. It is important to complete the whole course of the treatment even if you already feel better.

You can check your local health magazines or contact a pharmacist nearby to know if there is any discount coupons offered by manufacturers. You can check their website (www.tamiflu.com) for any promos and special discounts.
