I am bothered by you making the color of your blog black. Please explain to me why did you choose black? Your reviews and the movies you wrote about seem to fit in with the color black.

Is it easy to transfer everything over to Wordpress?
I have not tried moving to wordpress yet, I still don't have enough time. You may try to study it first before considering a transfer. I visited your site again and I liked it better. The white background is more relaxed plus the black top heading highlights your title. Keep up the good work. Any change you can add links? Or you don't prefer linking to other sites?
It's official. I am now switched to Wordpress. My old blog redirects. I don't know how, but they sold me.
I'm not a fan of white text on block background, it makes my eyes hurt. But colors are subjective so you won't please all the people. On a positive note, I am happy to see you liked the Diary of a Wimpy Kid movie. My kids want to see that one also.

There is a rendering issue on the side panel that is pushing me towards wordpress.
So do you thing the idea of headings to describe each topic are a good idea? Are the posts entertaining and interesting or just plain boring?
I think the headings are good. Whatever you did to change the level of the background helped, the diagonal portion of the background yesterday was distracting. If you made the words a bit larger for reading purposes the white on black background might be ok. A few paragraph breaks to separate the text some would be good too.
How will the comments show? With a film review site you need others actively commenting so you want to be sure those look good too.
What I did not care for was the look of the blog. Black on black is just black. White text on a black screen makes the eyes very tired. I can only read a post or two before I click off the page. It can be "dark" without having to be black. Use steel grays and other colors in combination to create the same effect while giving the page dimension. A variety of colors, shapes and textures will allow a reader to rest their eyes periodically by glancing over the screen, then back to the text. Ultimately this will keep them reading.
On Blogger, its very easy to customize your own blog background. If you start with the "Minima" page layout, you can find the html and graphics dimensions to create your own unique looking blog.

Also, make the blog interactive by adding in pictures at the sides, gadgets like appropriate YouTube videos where someone could see the trailer for a movie your are critiquing would be excellent. Utilize the labels function to categorize your posts - perhaps have special "worst of the worst" or "plot disasters" "stupidest character you ever met" ...... something slightly humorous?
Overall your concept is good and the thought behind the posts great. Clean up the writing and create a more dynamic background to be on your way to a very cool blog.

Unfortunately, I can't add Amazon.com affiliate stuff because I live in Colorado, a state that bans Amazon.com Affiliate linking.
How strange! There's other clubs and programs out there you can join that might be ok. I use Commission Junction a lot.
Can you use eBay affiliate links? It's easy to sign up.
The layout is nice and clean is not strenous on the eyes. I like the tabs.. You're writing comes across to me as professional, and easy to understand. (althought I am not a pro to proofread) You present the content clearly. It has nice small graphics and picture, as well as movie content that does not interfere with the layout etc. In my opinion your blog is very well done, and I would not recommend you to change anything. Just keep blogging, and doing great! :)

Under $10 for a domain name. Hosting is so cheap or you can actually find free hosting that isn't too bad for a beginner. But Hostgator guys really have a good deal.
Then you will be able to use a bunch of cool 'plugins' on your blog.
Do a little 'SEO' with a neat plugin. Plugins are free so use a bunch of em.

At first, he made his blog with Blogger, then he decided to try it on Wordpress. Now he was able to have people directed to his Wordpress blog whenever they click on a link to his Blogger. I'm sure he's not making anymore links to his Blogger.
The link in his question takes me to the Blogspot page and after several seconds I am automatically thrown to the Wordpress page. Since I see both pages and the black background page is the Blogspot page I wasn't sure which page was to be critiqued.
The wordpress blog looks like a template page. Buy your own domain name, move your site over there and get a better Wordpress theme. Customize the design so it becomes your own. Add a fun logo rather than just type at the top. Add a cool background image or design. The blog really needs some flare.

I had wrote another long comment, but I messed up. I wrote about my thoughts on each post. I'll make this short and ask you to proofread Diary of a Wimpy Kid. I saw one spelling error, and one grammatical error. I think with you enjoying this, I think you should write more about. Tell me about the actors that you mentioned. How and why did they made this film? How and why did they decided to go into acting? Some people could tell if there's chemistry between the actors. I can't. Can you?
I have a lot to say. I may not say all today. First, I found out your age, and I want to recommend to write as much as you now before you have to work to support yourself. You gotta write, write, write. I'll be happy to read whatever you have.
As for the look of your blog, it won't hurt to have both wordpress and blogger and compare. Blogger gives you more freedom to tweak your blog. Blogger have pages, but it seem like you can't have the pages listed horizontally.
You seem to know about editing. Maybe you write about how to edit. How about movies being produced. I have interests on who's been cast in what movie. If you going to leave your blog black, it's no big deal. In the meantime, I recommend you think about the characteristics of the blog. Describe your blog. Give it a personality. For me, it's better you don't clutter your blog, as oppose to placing a lot of junk.
For your Adsense, did you know they have same ads for you. How about placing text ads on at least one of them. I don't mind ads. I don't want pop ups. I don't want ads moving around. I don't want to click to close ads. As for trailer ads, I could go to the home page of the movie and view them.
I thought it was just easy on the eyes. Does it not fit thematically, making the site distracting? Is my writing alright or too long?

I have now gotten rid of the ads. Thank you oodles for your encouragement about writing. The fact that anyone read enough that they could tell I knew about editing means a lot to me. The same goes for all of you. I love to write and hope to keep doing so. The changes that wordpress allowed me to make actually have made a world of difference so far. I may just kill the ads for a while and see what happens to traffic, etc.
I read your latest post. It was well-written like the others were. You write well. I'm sure you write better than people older than you. It's also good that you have a large vocabulary. I feel like your review of "Scanners" was too short. You gave it a B, which means you liked it. I feel because of that, you would be able to write a longer post. How many words did you write for all of your posts? I heard that at least 300 is a good amount.
I hope you don't dwell too much that I felt your post was short. What's more important that you wrote something.
