Linear algebra, which is central to modern mathematics as well as its applications, is the learning of linear sets of equations and their transformation properties.

Linear algebra is by and large utilized when preparing a graph, and evaluates the changes in a variable compared to a set time or distance or other constant. Moreover, linear algebra makes available the study and analysis of rotations in space, determination of a circle passing through three given points, least squares fitting, solution of coupled differential equations, as well as several other problems in engineering, physics, and mathematics.

At the same time, linear algebra can be perplexing when you first begin learning about it. Consequently, before you can begin making use of linear algebra you need to have a fundamental awareness and understanding of algebra as well as algebraic equations.

Hi Palms,
Linear Algebra is mathematics that deals with vectors¬¬. Vector spaces or linear spaces belong in the families of vectors. This would be where the functions and input of one vector causes the output of another. The linear maps (or linear transformations or linear operators) are the functions that are well behaved and can be represented by matrices. Linear algebra is the foundation to applications and modern mathematics. The solution of a system of linear equations in several unknowns is the more simple application of linear algebra. The more advanced applications are in areas as diverse as abstract algebra and functional analysis. Linear algebra is solidly represented in analytic geometry, generalized in operator theory and in module theory. Furthermore, it has multiple applications in social sciences, natural sciences engineering and physics.

Definition:
noun | the part of algebra that deals with the theory of linear equations and linear transformation

Linear Algebra is part of Algebra, just more in-depth and specific

Algebra involves the mathematical approach of solving for variables by using equations.

Linear Algebra takes that to another level by manipulating these variables using mathematical structures.
