Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

The correct spelling is Lanoxin. Lanoxin is used to treat cardiac problems such asatrial fibrillation and CHF (congestive heart failure).
It is a derivitave form of digitalis which comes from the foxglove plant. if you have grown foxglove or work with the foxglove plant you can be subject to irreular heartbets or other cardiac problems without you knowing it.
In the hospital setting it is an injectible drug delivered through an IV delivery method and on rare uses intramuscular. There is a post surgical continued long term oral version of the drug as well.
It is also used as a piggyback drug when pacemakers or other reconstructive methods are used.
There is no age limit, though there are special dosages for preemies, newborns and the extremely fragile elderly.
