Jo Jo’s Circus is an educational pre-school cartoon that aired on The Disney Channel in their Playhouse Disney line-up. Jo Jo’s Circus premiered in 2003 and follows the adventures of a six-year old girl name Jo Jo Tickle who is a clown living in circus town. Each show consisted on two segments where Jo Jo would learn a lesson, then would be asked by another character what she had learned. This would lead to Jo Jo doing a musical number about what she had just learned in that segment.
Shelly Goldstein, Andy Yerkes, wrote Jo Jo’s Circus and stars, Madeleine Martin, Robert Smith and Diana Peressini. Apparently at the moment Jo Jo’s Circus isn’t part of the Playhouse Disney schedule in the United States. However, the program can be purchased on DVD.
