What is God of War?
I don't play video games that often and the games I knew and play are fairly limited. I have often read about God of War online and I am curious what kind of game is this. When was this game released? Who is the developer of this game? Is it recommended for children ages 6 and 12? Have you tried playing this game? Please include the plot. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

God of War is actually a series of games, that started with the original God of War, which was released on March 22, 2005 on the Playstation 2. There are now five games in the series, with three mayor releases. The latest release is God of War 3, which was released in March 2010, and sold over a million copies already. It is one of the top games of the console.
God of War is what they call a "Hack and Slash" game, which is known for its brutal violence, lots of gore and blood, and excessive kills. They also have some Quick Time Events, and some puzzles, but these are usually not too difficult.
As you probably understand, these games are definitely not suitable for minors, they are rated "M" for Mature. For the right age and audience, these games are highly entertaining, have excellent graphics, and are generally slated as one of the best games for its respective generations (God of War and God of War 2 for the Playstation 2, God of War 3 for Playstation 3).
