In gestational surrogacy a women carries intended parents’ biological child. In it, surrogate mother works as a career. It is the most popular form of surrogacy for its success rates and in this form intended parents can become parents of their biological child. As law favors it, it is impossible for a surrogate mother to suddenly "change her mind" at birth.

In traditional surrogacy, traditional carrier will sign over her parental rights to the biological father and intended mother. But in gestational surrogacy, surrogate mother is act as a career for the biological child of intended parents.
