Eid ul Adha is a religious festival of Muslims. Muslims has two religious festivals in a year and Eid ul Adha is the second one. Eid ul Adha is celebrated on the 10th of Zil Hajj. Eid ul Adha is celebrated in the memory of sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim A.S when he took his son Prophet Ismail A.S to slaughter him for the will of God. But when he slaughters his son he found a sheep lying in place of his son and his son was standing beside him. The message of this was to accepting will of Allah and sacrifices everything to full fill his will. So the Muslims all over the world slaughter Halal animals in order to repeat the Sunnah of Prophet Ibrahim A.S and memorize the lesson of this sacrifice.
