What is "Dollhouse" about?

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Dollhouse is about a place where people volunteer to give up their identities, have their mind wiped, and then are able to have other identities "installed". People are able to buy these "dolls" and determine what identities to be installed. The "dolls" can also be used as secret agents when a secret agent identity is installed. Want some karate, install the karate identity.

It seems that identities can be stacked... meaning... you can mix and match.

There is an ex-FBI agent who has heard of the Dollhouse and is trying to find it and bring it down.

I'd give it an 8 out of 10 at this point, but it's teetering...

Dollhouse is a television series on the FOX network created by Joss Whedon. Dollhouse's premise involves a group of agents or "dolls" whose personalities can be wiped clean and imprinted with new personas, memories, skills and languages. The "dolls" are hired to carry out crimes, play out fantasies and complete various jobs. The show focuses on Dushku's character Echo, a "doll" who begins to develop self-awareness.

It's being rumored in early April of 2009 that episode 13, the season finale starring Felicia Day, is being pulled. The show is said to have gotten fairly poor reviews this season and will likely not be back in the fall.
